About Presley
Presley is owned and loved by Katie and Robert Nevin of River's Edge Gypsies.
Katie bought Presley as a weanling from Gitt E Up Gypsies and he was shipped up to Red Lake Falls in the Fall of 2014. Katie raised him and took him to county fairs, the MN horse expo and many parades and nursing homes and many community members help her show him in local in hand shows.
When he was old enough Presley was started to drive and light riding under Moses Hershberger or Hersheberger Horses Training . Then he went on to show at KD Performance Horses, a show trainer. He had many National, World and even International Supreme Champion wins. Katie partnered with his show trainer on him from 2019 to 2021 and then since 2021 Katie Nevin and her husband Robert Nevin have owned Presley together alone again.
In the fall of 2021 Presley added teacher to his list of accomplishments! He is on lease during the winters to the University of Minnesota Crookston Equine Program where students ride him in English, Western and he does driving and is part of the Intercollegiate Equestrian Team! He was out showing for most of 2022 and is so happy to be back but he misses showing!
Presley is a very kind stallion who loves being out in the spotlight as much as he loves running with his mares and rolling around in the pasture. If you are looking for a kind and willing partner with feather and bone to spare Presley might be just the guy for your mares!
Presley was out in 2022 in training and showing with Hanes Performance Horses and Taylor Hanes. We are so excited with the amazing list of accomplishments they had in the 2022 year and a few highlights from previous years!!
